Assembly Line Technician

Schedule:1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMPosition SummaryNew Hudson Facades is seeking motivated and dependable Assembly Line Technicians to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble curtain wall unit subassemblies and completed units while ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Successful candidates will be comfortable working with hand tools, reading assembly drawings, and performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced production environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUtilize manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools to assemble curtain wall units.Verify assembly components using assembly drawings and specifications.Assemble curtain wall unit subassemblies and complete unit frames.Install insulation and manually apply and tool silicone weather sealant.Glaze assembled units using pneumatic silicone application equipment.Verify final assembly dimensions using a tape measure and assembly drawings.Move completed units from the assembly line and prepare them for storage or shipment.Report any discrepancies between assembly components and assembly drawings to line supervision.Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, or unsafe work practices to supervisors.Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.Return tools and equipment to designated storage locations at the end of each shift.Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.QualificationsSkills and AbilitiesAbility to perform repetitive lifting and remain on your feet throughout an 8-hour shift.Willingness and ability to learn multiple assembly line positions and adapt to varying job functions.Experience operating manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools, including:- DrillsImpact driversCutting toolsReciprocating sawsPneumatic nailersAbility to read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings (blueprints).Experience operating material hoists and vacuum lifting equipment is preferred.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.Manufacturing, assembly, construction, or related experience is a plus.Why Join New Hudson Facades?At New Hudson Facades, we take pride in delivering high-quality building envelope solutions while maintaining a safe, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
