Our Client are seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant with 5-7 years of public accounting experience to join a well-established boutique CPA firm specializing in sophisticated tax services for closely held businesses, trusts, private foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build meaningful long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including:

  • Individual 1040

  • Partnership 1065

  • Corporate 1120 / 1120-S

  • Fiduciary/Trust 1041

  • Exempt Organization 990-PF

• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end tax projections and estimates.

• Assist clients with tax planning and identify tax-saving opportunities.

• Conduct tax research and analyze complex technical tax issues.

• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and inquiries.

• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely filing of tax returns.

• Assist with training and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of public accounting tax experience required.

• Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and exempt organization tax returns.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

• CPA preferred.

• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Experience with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks preferred.
