About the Position

Our client in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment. This full-time inpatient role involves covering an inpatient rehabilitation unit Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. The incoming provider will manage admissions and discharges, round with a physician, and assist with charting. Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover the inpatient rehabilitation unit Monday through Friday
• Manage an average daily census of 10-12 patients
• Perform approximately 2 admissions and 2 discharges daily
• Prepare patient notes and round with supervising physicians
• Share charting responsibilities with a physician
• Care for an older patient population, including those with limb salvage, foot injuries, and dialysis needs
• Oversee patients participating in various rehabilitation programs such as Amputation, Brain Injury, Cancer, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Spinal Cord Injury and Disease, and Stroke Rehabilitation
• No screening or consult responsibilities are required for this position
