About the Position

We are seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment in Maryland. This role focuses on covering an inpatient rehab unit with a Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM schedule, ensuring no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. The Physician Assistant will actively manage patient care, including admissions, discharges, rounding with physicians, and shared charting responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover the inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Prepare patient notes and round collaboratively with the physician
• Share charting responsibilities with the physician
• Manage admission and discharge orders, typically two of each daily
• Provide follow-up care for patients
• Care for an older patient population, frequently involving limb salvage, foot injuries, and dialysis patients
• Participate in various inpatient rehab programs including Amputation, Brain Injury, Cancer, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Spinal Cord Injury and Disease, and Stroke Rehabilitation
• No screening or consult responsibilities are required
