• Facilitate specimen collection and assist in preparing samples for analyses as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold the high-quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain valid certification throughout employment.
