This role will also help define strategic direction, determine business needs, design & deliver technical solutions for Production planning, and manage team members. This role has primary accountability for the delivery of Production planning with integration to Quality, including project delivery, system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPossesses deep understanding of the overall vision and business needs and utilizes this knowledge to collaborate with Production, operations, and Supply Chain to define detailed business requirements for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.Solid SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding of PP and related areas (QM, MM, EWM)Good knowledge on Shop floor and Manufacturing Interfaces (MES).Must be up to date on latest S4 Hana release.Strong HANA knowledge preferredAbility to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Proficient English language skillsWillingness to travel locallyAble to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job DescriptionSupport and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set targetAble to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policySpearhead the mapping of map business requirements to optimal technical solutions.Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements.People Management, work distribution, Performance evaluation .
