Millwood's caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971. Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. The hospital is less than 35 minutes from DFW International Airport. Position Summary: Purchasing Specialist - Part-time (20 hours/week)

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 1:00pm)

Responsible for purchasing, receiving, stocking, organizing, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies, equipment, forms, and other materials throughout the hospital. Ensures departments have the supplies and forms they need while maintaining accurate inventory and appropriate storage conditions.

Must be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: Monday -Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM; Week 2: Monday - Thursday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduation or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of materials management, warehouse, inventory or supply chain experience in a hospital setting.
