Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration. Develop customized treatment plans tailored to the unique goals, preferences, and needs of each client. Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to engage clients effectively. Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies. Monitor progress towards treatment goals and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients. Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical guidelines. Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to support collaborative care efforts. Advocate for clients' needs and promote mental health awareness to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work primarily with adults who are navigating personal and relational challenges, particularly in the context of divorce and relationship conflicts. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, representing a range of cultural and socioeconomic contexts which requires a tailored therapeutic approach to best meet their needs. Qualifications A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy is essential for this role. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to establish trust and rapport with clients. Demonstrated empathy, a nonjudgmental stance, and the ability to respect diverse perspectives are critical. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance caseload and documentation tasks. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
