Territory Sales Manager

The company emphasizes collaborative partnerships, technical expertise, and consistent execution to drive successful outcomes for clients.
Role Description The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, remote role. This role is responsible for developing and managing a territory sales plan, identifying and qualifying new commercial and industrial solar and energy storage customers , and building long-term relationships with EPCs, ESCOs, and developers. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing quotes and proposals, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through closing.
The Territory Sales Manager will collaborate closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure accurate program information, coordinate post-sale support, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring market trends, participating in industry events as needed, and reporting on territory performance to sales leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid conceptual selling skills, such as prospecting, negotiating, closing long term partnership programs, and managing a sales pipeline.
- Candidates should possess customer-focused Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, relationship-building, and issue resolution.
- Candidates should possess Training and coaching skills to educate clients on solutions and support internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Sales Management capabilities, including territory planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Experience in solar, energy storage, or related energy industries is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software; ability to analyze sales data and market information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory as required by client and program needs.
