Summary
The of Claims Data Entry Clerk is primarily responsible for data entry of the Healthcare account client claims in support of the Pennsylvania Health Care Account & Leveraged services. Your role in our mission
- Keying/verifying data from claims form/attachments and other documents within a data capture solution.
- Keying information for multiple states, following different process procedures. Accurately capture data with a strong attention to detail
- Follow procedures. Accepts instruction and direction from leadership.
- Complies with contract requirements, business unit rules and related and legal regulations,
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Meet established production, KPI's and quality standards. Maintain attendance that adheres to the Gainwell policy. Working with Microsoft Office programs including Excel
- 1-2 years general administrative & Data Entry experience is preferred
- Claim processing, claim form & healthcare background a plus.
- Excellent typing skills (60WPM) and 10-key type fluent.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, be self-motivated, Ability to work independently, use good time-management skills
- Ability to multitask. Ability to read, understand and follow basic to moderately complex documents such as operating procedure manuals. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Experience and basic proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
- This position may require some on-site in PA/Camp Hill for training purposes.
- Ability to multitask, following assignments worked and completed simultaneously as directed by leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members. Strong communication skills to communicate with leads & leaders
- Ability to keep sensitive and confidential material private. Adheres to security policies and procedures.
- The starting hours would be 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
#LI-HYBRID #LI-LS2 The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
