PRICE IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST (HYBRID-CHARLOTTE, NC)

Job Summary This position is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the pricing and customer subscriptions as reported by distributor and suppliers into and through various technology platforms. Duties may include price auditing, data validation, customer subscription accuracy and root cause analysis to support the Foodbuy Price Verification process, and to drive key analytics and business initiatives around price verification. The data intelligence analyst is expected to communicate across multiple internal and external teams in order to help resolve or mitigate any potential pricing risks. Responsibilities Review data to identify patterns or anomalies, assess opportunities, and mitigate risk Perform monthly reconciliations of Manufacturer and Distributor financials to those calculated based on the contracts in our system Perform monthly Price Audits and/or analysis to ensure contracted prices and distribution deals are being implemented Research the root cause of price variances between the supplier’s sell price and Foodbuy’s calculated sell price Analyze large amounts of data and understand and address problems through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Work with internal Foodbuy departments and external supply chain partners to resolve issues impacting data integrity and pricing accuracy Create and update supply chain data for the purpose of price validation and implementation reporting Understand and stay current with company processes and procedures related to price management Gain a thorough understanding of the technical process flow and data related to ensuring that negotiated pricing is accurate to the unit level Utilize AI tools to better leverage growth and efficiencies within the role Perform Ad Hoc analysis Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elevate team offerings Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant related experience will be considered in lieu of formal education Financial analysis, trend analysis, and/or audit experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others Prior experience with contractual terms is preferred. Sense of urgency and excellent customer service skills Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Working with units of measure/conversions and complex calculations Flexible/adaptable to change.
