Public Health Program Specialist I

Job OpportunityThe State of Mississippi is offering a full-time position with a salary range of $31,111.11 to $46,713.33 annually. The job is located in Hinds County, MS.The position is non-state service, time-limited and involves guiding providers through the enrollment process into the VFC Program. It also includes on-boarding users of the Mississippi Immunization Information eXchange (MIIX) system, assisting with accessing immunization records on MyIR Mobile, and supporting the Office of Immunization.To be successful in this role, you should have familiarity with HIPAA and Privacy Laws, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to learn new systems. An individual who is excited to support the Agency Mission to protect and advance the health, well-being, and safety of everyone in Mississippi is preferred.
