Behavioral Health Technician / Mental Health Support Specialist (Per Diem)Location: Rockingham, North Carolina Up to $21/hr | Flexible Scheduling | Day & Night Shifts Available We are currently hiring compassionate and dependable professionals for a Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) facility providing 24/7 support services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges. This is a per diem opportunity offering excellent flexibility for candidates seeking supplemental income or adaptable scheduling.Available Shifts8:00 AM –8:00 PM8:00 PM –8:00 AMResponsibilitiesProvide direct support and supervision to consumersAssist with and model daily living skillsMonitor and document consumer behaviors, symptoms, and concernsCommunicate observations to clinical team membersParticipate in shift reports and team collaborationProvide transportation as neededSupport a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environmentPerform additional duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situationsCompassion for individuals facing mental health and substance abuse challengesAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyTeam-oriented mindset with a strong belief in recovery and client advocacyQualified candidates should be able to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the role.
