Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Professional role based at Toyota of Colchester in Colchester, CT. The Sales Professional is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection process. Daily activities include conducting test drives, presenting product features and benefits, preparing price quotes, and explaining financing and leasing options. The role involves maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of Toyota models, inventory, and promotions, as well as using the dealership’s CRM tools to follow up with leads and existing customers. The Sales Professional also collaborates with finance and service teams to support a smooth, positive customer experience from initial contact through purchase and delivery. Qualifications Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build trust with a diverse range of customers. Sales or retail experience, with the ability to meet goals, handle objections, and close transactions in a professional manner. Basic understanding of automotive products or a strong interest in learning vehicle features, technology, and maintenance needs. Comfort working with computers and dealership systems, including CRM tools, email, and basic office software. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple customers, appointments, and follow‑ups throughout the day. High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering a respectful and inclusive customer experience. Ability to work on‑site, including evenings and weekends as needed to meet customer and business demands. High school diploma or equivalent required; prior automotive sales experience or relevant training is beneficial.
