Project Coordinator

Roles/Responsibilities:

The District seeks a firm that will perform the required work closely with LAUSD project team members and perform the responsibilities below but not limited to:

• Coordinate the installation of LAN, WLAN systems as well as IP based camera, intrusion, public address and VoIP
• Create and maintain accurate meeting minutes
• Create and maintain spreadsheets used for tracking projects
• Receiving and inventory the delivery of equipment using LAUSD forms
• Schedule and participate in Job start meetings
• Schedule and participate in Joint Scope with outside vendors
• Prepare and track LAUSD project documents (FETU,JOC, Inspection)
• Use LAUSD applications for tracking projects
• Process and track invoices to appropriate vendors
• Create and maintain project documents
• Prepare project closeout document packages
• Attend project meeting at LAUSD school sites
• Prepare clear and concise reports
• Formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in writing (email) and orally
• Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner
• Maintaining effective relationships with District personnel and other organizations
• Other duties as assigned
• A California Driver's license and use of a car

Mandatory Skills:

1. Proposer's resource resume must have at least 2 years of verifiable hands on experience coordinating project activities related to the following:
2. Deployment and installation in large K-12, higher education or government facilities of:

1. Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure systems
2. Intrusion Alarm systems
3. IP Video Surveillance (CCTV) systems

1. Experience must indicate the ability to:
   1. 1. Coordinate with contractors, low voltage technicians, electricians and other trades
      2. Read and interpret:
   2. Construction drawings
   3. Low voltage designs
   4. Statements of Work (SOW)
   5. Bills of Material(BOM)
   6. Requests for Clarification (RFC)
2. Create project status reports and project meeting minutes
3. Proposer's resource must have graduated from a recognized college or university. The resource may also submit relevant experience on a year for year basis in lieu of a college degree
4. Resumes that do not clearly reflect hands on infrastructure project installation experience with LAN/WLAN, Intrusion or Video Surveillance systems will be deemed non-responsive
