School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Hope Mills, North Carolina

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time position offers the chance to inspire and empower learners at multiple school sites-elementary, middle, or high school-just outside Hope Mills, NC.


You'll work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, in a collaborative, onsite environment with dedicated professionals. As an important member of the team, your expertise will help guide students toward their communication goals.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Active NC Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license (required)
• Experience in school-based or healthcare settings as an SLPA
• Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads across different school age groups
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative abilities with students and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individual or group treatment sessions for diverse speech/language needs
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and regulatory policies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in crafting targeted intervention plans
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom experience
