Diesel Mechanic Full-TimePosition Overview: Express Employment is partnering with a local Reynolds ND company who is seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing farm equipment and diesel-powered vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair diesel engines, tractors, trucks, trailers, and other farm equipmentPerform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake work, and preventative inspectionsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsMaintain accurate service and repair recordsRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtimeEnsure all equipment meets safety and operational standardsMaintain a clean and organized shop areaFollow all safety policies and proceduresQualifications:Previous experience as a diesel mechanic (agricultural equipment experience preferred)Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsAbility to use diagnostic tools and repair equipmentWelding experience is a plusAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditionsValid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)Skills & Abilities:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsStrong attention to detailWork Environment:Shop and outdoor work environmentSeasonal demands may require extended hours during planting and harvest
