Catering Cook
Noor Staffing Group on behalf of our client the Durham Bulls is seeking a Catering Cook. As a Catering Cook, you’ll be preparing ballpark staples and aiding in executing our high-end buffets where you’ll be able to demonstrate your skills in cooking and presentation. A passion for high quality food and working as a team are essential as you navigate the challenges of grilling burgers for feeding hundreds of guests or carefully assembling an artistic vegetable platter. This is a seasonal, part time position starting now-September 2026, hours vary.

This position offers $15.00/hr base (earn up to $16.50/hr with tips).

Duties

• Follow recipes, prep lists, and production guidelines for various dishes, including measuring, chopping, mixing, and cooking using standard kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, mixers).

• Pack out ingredients, cook on-site, finish, plate, and garnish food for events, managing timelines for service.

• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked; handle dishwashing and trash removal.

• Communicate with FOH/BOH teams, assist co-workers, and follow direction from supervisors.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Safely operate industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.

• Standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items, and moving around.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
