Benefits To You
- We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage.
- The hourly equivalent for this position is $38.69 - $60.02. [OR the annual salary for this position is $80,467 - $124,833.]

- OJD will pay you a 5% allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job!

Location Highlights

Position Highlights
The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a DUII Intensive Supervisor Program (DISP) Court Coordinator (Program Coordinator).
In this role…
You will serve as the primary point of contact between the treatment court team: including the judge, prosecutors, defense counsel, probation officers, treatment providers, case manager, and peer mentors, and judicial staff ensuring integrated communication and cohesive operations.
Lead and manage regular staffing meetings and court sessions, preparing rosters and progress summaries to support informed decision-making.
Engage in evidence-based practices that are in alignment with the Oregon Specialty Court Standards, All Rise Best Practice Standards, and Ten Guiding Principles for DWI Courts.
Assist the team DDA with the screening process for eligible DUII court candidates which includes, providing risk assessments and collecting DUII court screening data for ongoing internal assessment regarding equitable and efficient referral and entry processes. Additionally, you will be involved with the department analyst for ongoing internal data tracking and internal evaluation processes.
Attend all team meetings and court events and use the court case management system (Odyssey) and the Treatment Court Case Management System (TCMS) to schedule the court’s dockets, produce and maintain all documentation related to the operation of the program, enter data reflecting the work of the court, and record case events for all court proceedings. You will gather information related to participant engagement and compliance with program directives through contact with case managers, community partners, or other public or private sector agencies and update Odyssey and TCMS. You will gather and maintain statistics critical to grant reporting and compliance. You will also monitor grant compliance, spending, and submission. You will maintain and update policy/procedure manuals and participant handbooks to ensure clarity and compliance with program standards.
Work collaboratively with the department analyst to conduct programmatic quality assurance, examining the effectiveness of services, and recommending adjustments to case management or treatment options. You will work with the team to ensure application of culturally competent practices and make programmatic adjustments / refinements based on individual participant needs.
Build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with national and state treatment court training divisions (Impaired Driving Solutions (IDA), OSCA Treatment Court Team, Criminal Justice Commission (DCJ), Department of Community Justice (DCJ) Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and Local Public Safety Council (LPSCC).
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social/human services, or a closely related field.
AND
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible technical or professional-level program experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to seven (7) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
NOTE: An advanced degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social/human services, or a closely related field may substitute for some of the required work experience.

- Experience working in a court or other legal environment is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions
- This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is FLSA-exempt and is ineligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required.
- There is a heavy workload in preparing, disbursing, collecting, and managing information regarding program participants.
- The position requires reading, understanding, and applying statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, and processes to specific cases, filings, documents, and customer inquiries.
- Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds who may be facing challenging life circumstances, highly stressful situations, or trauma.
- There will be direct contact with defendants and victims in misdemeanor and felony court cases.
- Long periods of sitting or standing.
- Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, printer, copy machine, and scanner.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Parking
Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff. Daily parking is available across SW 1st St from the central courthouse (monthly parking is limited). Another option is the Douglas Garage at 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97204. Parking cost is $165/month and is a half-mile from the courthouse and justice center.
