Job Opportunity – LTACH Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – South Carolina

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift; 36 or 48 hours per week available; 13 to 26 week contract options; weekend coverage supported by rotating on-call staff

Highlights:

• Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a daily census of 15 patients
• Night shift position with on-call support after 5pm daily and on weekends
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary team support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Flexible contract lengths: 13 or 26 week options available
• Focus on adult and geriatric patient populations with complex medical needs
• Billable pre-start module completion (up to 16 hours reimbursable)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Neurological experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• LTACH experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Skills in complex wound care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and tracheostomy care/management
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the contracted facility (night shift specialty exception applies)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
