Desired Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina teaching license, or eligibility for reciprocal licensure if transferring from another state

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with IEPs and best practices for exceptional children
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and goals
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and adapting approaches as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other team members to deliver integrated support
• Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed of student progress and encourage engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
