Description Job Title: Project Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Operations Last Review Date: 12.2025 Supervisor: Project Director Last Revise Date: 12.2025 Position Summary: Provide overall construction direction for single and/or multiple projects to ensure quality control, profitability, and client satisfaction. Ensure client satisfaction by understanding and communicating the client’s vision/objectives for the project, producing on time project delivery, and meeting client’s established budget. Manage the overall direction of the project from preconstruction through closeout including contractual and specification documentation compliance, advising on constructability issues, setting quality standards, managing team collaboration, and meeting or exceeding the project’s forecasted profit goals. Provide training and direction to direct reports. Essential Functions: Work with Preconstruction to develop budgets and schedules Attend interviews with prospective clients to help sell new work Read, understand, and remember the drawings, specifications, and contracts Prepare constructability reviews to solve problems before construction starts Offer cost-saving and quality-enhancing options Assist in procuring permits Work with the Superintendent to build the project Communicate clearly, fully, and honestly with the client Support the Superintendent Coordinate with Preconstruction Execute subcontracts and purchase orders timely Conduct effective meetings with owners, architects, consultants, inspectors, utility companies, and subcontractors Create & maintain reliable schedules Ensure that safety procedures are followed Ensure the financial health of project Prepare accurate budget forecasts Monitor all costs Track and capture all changes Track and price all responses to Requests for Information Track subcontractors’ and suppliers’ performance and see that they are paid properly Earn the stated margin Keep management informed Train & supervise the Project Engineers & Project Administrators, making sure that: Plan sets and plan logs are up-to date The change management process is followed rigorously and that change order requests are compiled full and complete The Request for Information process is followed correctly and well The submittal process is followed correctly and well Job files are well maintained Meeting minutes are clear, accurate, complete, and timely Owner’s Manuals are properly compiled Project records are properly archived Requirements for insurance, safety, and employee relations are met Manage the completion of the project Obtain the final inspection and certificate of occupancy Inspect the work, write the punch list, and manage the completion of all work Audit all subcontracts Coordinate training of the client’s personnel Obtain final payment from the client Release final payments and retention to subcontractors Review the subcontractors’ performance with Preconstruction Maintain a long-term relationship with the client Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the responsibilities of the job. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency with CMiC or similar project management software, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software, spreadsheets, and the Microsoft office suite. CAD and BIM proficiency is desired. Intelligence and imagination Exceptional interpersonal skills Strong written and oral communication skills Strong math skills Ability to function as a team member in a fast‑paced environment Education and Experience: A 4‑year degree in construction management (BSCE, BSCM, or BSAE) from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent experience Five years’ experience as a construction Project Manager The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $170,000.00 (dependent on skills and experience). #J-18808-Ljbffr Cello & Maudru Construction
