We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in a Salesforce consulting or professional services environment. This role is designed for an experienced, client-facing professional who can independently lead business analysis activities, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Salesforce implementations, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to drive client engagements from discovery through deployment — without the need for hands-on configuration expertise.

• Independently lead and facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning meetings, and stakeholder interviews to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
• Build and manage strong client relationships, establishing trust with new clients and serving as a reliable point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with clients to understand business goals, identify gaps, risks, and considerations, and translate complex needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Act as the key liaison between developers, Salesforce configurators, and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and delivered across workstreams.
• Apply a user-centric mindset to requirements-gathering, documentation, QA support, and training activities to ensure solutions meet real business needs.
• Analyze complex business processes and break them down into smaller, manageable, and actionable requirements across the full project lifecycle — from discovery through deployment.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, working with technical teams to refine user stories and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Support system integrations by identifying business needs and facilitating collaboration between client stakeholders and technical teams.
• Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, sharing best practices and supporting their professional development.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of client-facing deliverables, including process documentation, training materials, and status reports, with strong attention to detail.
• Evaluate and escalate project issues, risks, or conflicts proactively, offering thoughtful suggestions to ensure smooth project execution.
• Leverage firm-approved AI tools — including emerging platforms — to support efficiency, quality, and innovation in the role, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
• Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.

• 5–8 years of experience in a Salesforce consulting firm or professional services environment, supporting Salesforce implementation projects in a Business Analyst role.
• Proven ability to independently drive client-facing meetings, including discovery sessions, backlog grooming, and sprint planning — with minimal oversight.
• Strong client management skills, including the ability to establish and grow new client relationships from the ground up.
• Excellent ability to liaise between developers and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, including core objects, the data model, and key product areas such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud — without the need for hands-on configuration expertise.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including the ability to validate requirements and proactively surface gaps, risks, and considerations.
• Experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions and translating business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
• Well-organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment across multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation and facilitation, and written communication skills — both internally and with clients.
• Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools, including AWS-native tools such as Amazon Q, to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
• Willingness to travel for client and team engagements as needed.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst) are a plus but not required.
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is required.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading junior team members is preferred.

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $110,000 - $150,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
