Valid New Jersey Department of Education certification as a Principal and/or Supervisor required. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience at the middle school and/or high school level preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with middle school and/or high school programs, curriculum, instruction, student supports, and school operations. Ability to serve as an instructional leader and support effective teaching, learning, assessment, and professional growth. Outstanding communication, collaboration, organization, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, families, administration, and the school community. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14‑7. The employee is not eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees' Retirement System. The position is not eligible for additional compensation in the form of stipends for extracurricular activities, coaching, or tuition reimbursement based on district policy.
