Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will provide clinical supervision and coordinate the Operating Room’s operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among caregivers and other departments. Highlights Pay : $39.50 - $59.60/hour Location : Canton, OH Facility : Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital Department/Unit : Operating Room Schedule : Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments/units. Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts. Coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers and other operational issues. Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers. Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and counsel on performance issues. Interview, select and orient new caregivers. Supervise and participate in the daily delivery of patient care. Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts. Participate in and support quality improvement projects and research initiatives. Assist in orienting new personnel and in-service educational programs. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Experience: 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in an Operating Room (OR) Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within the first year of employment About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
