Opportunity:
Medical Assistant – Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

• Temporary 12-month assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am – 5pm
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant required
• Completion of a Medical Assisting Program externship required
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a course of study consistent with Medical Assistant requirements as specified by the Medical Board of California
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification awarded by the American Heart Association required
• NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required
• NHA Certified Medical Administration Assistant (CMAA) certification required
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information and terminology
• Must be able to effectively present information both verbally and in written form

Compensation:
Temporary employment is available based on an hourly rate determined by the employee's experience level on a 0-14 year scale. Please contact us for more information.
