Opportunity:
Medical Assistant – Outpatient Clinic
Job Details:
- Temporary 12-month assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am – 5pm
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant required
- Completion of a Medical Assisting Program externship required
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a course of study consistent with Medical Assistant requirements as specified by the Medical Board of California
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification awarded by the American Heart Association required
- NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required
- NHA Certified Medical Administration Assistant (CMAA) certification required
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information and terminology
- Must be able to effectively present information both verbally and in written form
Compensation:
Temporary employment is available based on an hourly rate determined by the employee's experience level on a 0-14 year scale. Please contact us for more information.
