Contract Administration Officer

About the role We are seeking a Contract Administrator Officer to join our UKCS Living Places team based in Southampton. This role is essential in providing high-quality administrative and business support to the contract, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations. As part of a busy and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team, maintaining systems and processes, and helping to ensure compliance across the contract. What you'll be doing Providing general administrative support including minute taking, typing, scanning, and document management. Supporting the contract team with permit applications. Maintaining and updating the training matrix to ensure all employees hold the required qualifications for their roles. Coordinating and booking meetings, managing schedules for internal and external stakeholders. Managing and maintaining electronic systems, including becoming a key user of the M‑Site system and associated devices. Assisting with the issue and tracking of training equipment to staff. Supporting the planning and coordination of quality audits. Providing ad‑hoc administrative support as required by the Project Manager and wider team. Who we're looking for A highly motivated, proactive, and practical administrator. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships. A reliable and professional individual with a high level of integrity. Someone who is well organised with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks both independently and as part of a team. Confident IT user with good general computer literacy.
