SURVEY CREW CHIEF – EGG HARBOR, NJ
Well-established Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join its growing team in the Egg Harbor, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform construction stakeout, boundary, and topographic surveys
- Conduct field measurements and mathematical calculations
- Collect accurate survey data and maintain detailed field notes
- Perform note reduction and field data verification
- Interpret plans, specifications, and survey documents
- Operate and maintain survey equipment and data collectors
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
Requirements:
- 3-25+ years of survey field experience with a Civil Engineering or Surveying firm
- Experience with construction layout, boundary, and topographic surveys
- Strong understanding of property and boundary surveys
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Proficiency with survey instruments and data collection equipment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication and organizational skills
