REMOTE MEDICAL BILLING & INSURANCE FOLLOW-UP SPECIALIST

100% Remote 1st Shift EST | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week ⏰ 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Are you the person who refuses to take "claim denied" as the final answer? We're looking for an experienced Medical Billing professional who knows how to navigate insurance follow-up, overturn denials, and drive claims through the revenue cycle from start to finish.

⭐ What You'll Be Doing

✅ Follow up on insurance and patient balances

✅ Investigate and resolve denied claims

✅ Write and submit appeals to insurance carriers

✅ Review claim edits and clearinghouse rejections

✅ Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics

✅ Submit corrected claims and document account activity

✅ Support revenue cycle operations while escalating complex issues when needed

Must-Have Experience

✔ Insurance Follow-Up

✔ Denials Management

✔ Writing Appeals

✔ Medical Billing from Start to Finish

✔ Accounts Receivable (AR)

✔ Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

✔ ICD-10 Knowledge

✔ Claims Processing

➕ Highly Preferred

✅ Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Billing Experience

You have a strong background in medical billing, enjoy fighting for reimbursement, and can confidently work denied claims through successful resolution. If you've worked AR, appeals, insurance follow-up, and revenue cycle management in a high-volume environment, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a Permanent position based out of Avon, CT.

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $59000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
