Forklift Operators - Hiring Immediately

We are seeking a reliable, versatile, and safety-conscious Forklift / Material Handling Operator to join our team for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. In this role, you won't just be sitting behind the wheel all day-we are looking for a true team player. While your primary responsibility will be operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) to move inventory, you will also step out of the cab to assist with machine operation, packaging, and general facility maintenance to keep our production lines moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Equipment Operation (Approx. 60-70%)

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) including sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers (order pickers), electric pallet jacks, and Hi-Los .
  
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse and production floors.
  
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  
• Perform daily pre-operational safety inspections on all equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.

Cross-Functional Team Support

• Machine Operation: Assist in operating and monitoring production machinery as needed (training provided).
  
• Packaging & Prep: Pack, label, wrap, and palletize finished goods to prepare them for shipment according to company standards.
  
• Facilities Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by sweeping, discarding debris, and performing basic facility housekeeping.
  
• Actively participate in all safety meetings and adhere to strict OSHA regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (Sit-down, Cherry Picker, Electric Pallet Jack, and/or Hi-Lo).
  
• Flexibility: A strong willingness to step away from the forklift to perform other duties (packaging, cleaning, machine operation) as business needs dictate.
  
• Shift Preference: Ability to work a consistent 2nd or 3rd shift schedule, including regular overtime as required.
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, stand/walk for extended periods, and comfortably work at heights (when operating a cherry picker).
  
• Certifications: Prior forklift certification is highly preferred (re-certification will be conducted on-site).
  
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a safety-first mindset.
