About the Role: Job Title: NAM Accounting Supervisor Job Summary The NAM Accounting Supervisor will oversee routine accounting operations within a defined functional area such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, inventory, fixed assets, or other accounting shared services activities. This role supervises daily work assignments, reviews accounting transactions and reconciliations, supports month-end close activities, and helps ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. The position provides direct guidance to accounting staff, escalates complex matters to management, and supports special projects as assigned. Qualifications BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting or educational equivalent is required (MBA or CPA is preferred). Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience, including prior lead, supervisory, or demonstrated workflow coordination experience. Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting activities within an assigned functional area, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, invoices, billing support, and related accounting documentation as applicable. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by coordinating timelines, resolving routine issues, and preparing or reviewing required schedules. Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and applicable reporting requirements; identify and elevate exceptions as needed. Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and workflow prioritization for accounting staff. Partner with the Controller, Finance Manager, and business stakeholders to resolve routine accounting questions and support operational reporting needs. Support process improvements, system initiatives, audits, and special projects as assigned. Skills and Abilities Thorough knowledge of finance principles and practices. Knowledge of specific industry. Experience with Oracle. Ability to work independently. Must be proficient and skilled in the knowledge and use of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills. Must possess some degree of proven analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for invoices, to find solutions to various finance problems, and prioritize work. Must possess the desire and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly is required. Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
