Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical

Schedule: 12-hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) at the time of submission
• Up-to-date resume reflecting 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical/telemetry
• BLS certification required
• NHISS certification needed prior to start
• ACLS certification required
• EMR experience preferred: Cerner
• Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
• Skills checklist matching specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical and respiratory care unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission.
• Travelers may be requested to float to other partner facilities as needed.
