Description What You Will Be Engaged With

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests across disciplinessuch as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address any discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train incoming staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirement

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Needs

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your active certification throughout employment.
