Data Management Analyst FocusThe Data Management Analyst focus specializes in planning, designing, developing and performing assessments on data and structures to ensure integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records and structures. Uses manual and/or automated methods and procedures to test output as established by product management, client specifications, and business/governance rules.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic quality assessments on data elements and structures to document and evaluate integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records and structures.Partner with team members to configure, operate and develop manual and/or automated methods, processes and procedures to test output or input based on data compliance, quality and use requirements as established by product management, client specifications, and governance programs.Create regular and ad hoc reviews, audits, and investigations of data activity and integrity; prepares reports and summaries of findings.Monitor guidelines and documentation of test development processes, procedures and standards.This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.Must be eighteen years or older.QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 3 years of experience in data management2+ years of experience in data quality management fieldBasic knowledge of developing and implementing data quality frameworks, policies, procedures, and controlsGeneral Understanding of data governance, master data management, and data modelingExposure to SQL, ETL, and data profiling and cleansing techniquesTechnical SkillsData Quality Assessment and Monitoring Tools (e.g., IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer, Talend)Data Warehousing & ETL ProcessesData Analysis Tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python, SSAS)Database Management (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)Data Profiling and Cleansing Tools (e.g., DataFlux, Trillium, Informatica Data Quality)PreferredExperience supporting Oracle PDH, Oracle PIM, Oracle ERP, or similar enterprise data-management platforms.Experience working within a tiered support model, shared services organization, or service desk environment.Experience supporting product, customer, location, supplier, or other enterprise master data domains.Experience developing or maintaining knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, and support documentation.Experience using reporting tools to assist with operational monitoring, issue analysis, and data validation activities.Familiarity with data governance, data quality, workflow management, and business process controls.About UsAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
