As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you're the expert in the room. Guests trust you with their skin, their comfort, and their confidence. You'll deliver high-quality waxing services in your own private suite, build real relationships with returning guests, and grow a loyal book of business - all within the support of a nationally recognized brand.

We're Ballast Wax, a fast-growing multi-unit EWC franchisee. We invest heavily in the development of our Wax Specialists because we know that when you grow, our centers grow. You'll have access to ongoing training, brand education, and a team that genuinely wants to see you thrive - technically, professionally, and financially.

WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation

• Earn $20+/hour - base pay, performance bonuses, and commissions combined
• Tips on every service, paid directly to you - on top of your hourly earnings
• Keep growing: specialists typically reach $25–$30/hour between 6 months and a year as their guest book builds
• The more your guest book grows, the more you earn - it's that direct

Base rate: $10/hour, plus performance bonuses, commissions and tips of $10–$15/hr as you build your book

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Guest Experience & Service Delivery

• Deliver professional waxing services in accordance with EWC brand protocols and licensing requirements
• Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
• Educate guests on post-wax care, service frequency, and what to expect
• Build genuine relationships that keep guests coming back - and referring friends

Sales & Guest Retention

• Recommend skincare products and service packages that genuinely serve your guests
• Consistently achieve rebooking, product sales, and Wax Pass goals
• Leverage your product knowledge and consultative approach to drive retention
• Contribute to center-wide performance targets

Hygiene, Safety & Standards

• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized wax suite at all times
• Adhere to all sanitation standards and state licensing laws without exception
• Uphold brand standards and model the EWC guest experience

Growth & Team Culture

• Participate in ongoing training, skill development, and center meetings
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment
