Key Qualifications:

• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Ability to develop and implement creative, student-centered treatment plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths
• Create individualized and group intervention plans tailored to educational settings
• Facilitate therapy sessions that address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies that promote student independence and participation
