Motorcycle Mechanic & Project Manager Location: Louisville, KY Job Id: 2670 # of Openings: 1 Reports To: CEO/Assistant to CEO Job Overview The technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of motorcycles and aiding in the launch of a new business unit. Working independently, the technician ensures each motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition, ready for display or riding. Responsibilities include removing OEM parts and accessories and updating them with custom parts, focusing on high workmanship standards and attention to detail. The position also requires establishing and maintaining vendor relationships to source parts and accessories, scheduling work on various vehicles, and managing a small growing collection of exotic cars and show cars. Responsibilities Remove and replace parts and accessories Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, chain maintenance, inspections Proficient with diagnostic tools and test equipment (preferred) Proficient in computer skills Conduct basic research and purchase items on the web Maintain detailed records of repairs and services Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations Experience using power tools, with ability to complete basic fabrication Basic construction skills helpful, including plumbing, drywall, painting (preferred) Forklift experience is a plus Must be able to lift 50lbs, stay on feet for long periods, climb ladders, etc. Other work as directed Requirements Motorcycle license/endorsement required Ability to work solo and unsupervised High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred Proven experience as a motorcycle mechanic or technician Strong understanding of motorcycle systems and components Good communication and customer service skills Compensation The hourly rate is commensurate with experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Car Keys Express
