Job Description

Our client is an investment management firm. They seek a temp Tax Consultant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporate entities and partnerships
Contribute to tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax positions
Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Research tax issues and provide insights on potential impacts
Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required
Monitor tax law changes and assess their implications for the firm

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Tax Associate or similar role in private equity or venture capital
Strong knowledge of corporate and partnership tax regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
CPA or advanced degree preferred
