Logistics Coordinator

Location: Huntersville, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: Day shift, starting at 8:00 a.m.
Pay Rate: $19.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Minimum Requirement

Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent logistics, warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, dock, or fulfillment experience to be considered.

Position Overview

Kelly® is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations within a fast-paced distribution center in Huntersville, NC.

This role will help coordinate warehouse workflow, organize daily assignments, support associates, and ensure shipping, receiving, fulfillment, and operational goals are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on logistics or distribution experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage workflow while completing basic administrative, data-entry, and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse assignments, labor, and workflow.
• Prioritize work based on shipping, receiving, fulfillment, inventory, and operational needs.
• Provide direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to warehouse associates.
• Monitor productivity and help the team meet daily performance goals.
• Communicate staffing, inventory, workflow, and operational concerns to management.
• Support dock, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
• Complete reports, operational documentation, and basic administrative tasks.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in warehouse and reporting systems.
• Promote compliance with company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with warehouse equipment operation when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Perform additional duties based on business and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent logistics, warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, dock, or fulfillment experience is required.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with an 8:00 a.m. start time.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer, data-entry, administrative, and reporting skills.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be willing to complete any required training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Lead, Tasker, Team Lead, or Supervisor.
• Experience coordinating labor or assigning daily warehouse work.
• Forklift or material-handling equipment experience.
• OSHA certification.
• Experience with warehouse management, inventory, ERP, or reporting systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in an active warehouse or distribution-center environment.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials as required.
• Ability to work safely around forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
