Are you an experienced flooring estimator, project manager, or sales professional who knows how to turn bids into profitable projects?

Big Red Flooring is growing and we're looking for a driven, results-oriented professional to help us manage, estimate, and win a large volume of commercial and residential flooring projects.

We receive a substantial volume of project opportunities from general contractors, builders, property managers, developers, and bid platforms. This position will be responsible for reviewing, estimating, bidding, and helping secure millions of dollars in flooring opportunities annually.

If you have experience in flooring, construction estimating, blueprint reading, takeoffs, sales, and project bidding, this is an opportunity to build a highly rewarding career with a fast-growing company.

What You'll Do

Estimating & Bidding

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Prepare accurate and profitable estimates
• Price labor, materials, and project costs
• Submit and manage bid proposals
• Track bid results and follow up with contractors
• Close Business with High Success Rate

Business Development & Sales

• Build relationships with general contractors, builders, developers, property managers, and owners
• Follow up on estimates and proposals
• Win new business and generate repeat customers
• Develop strategic opportunities to grow company revenue
• Help maintain a strong bid-to-win ratio while protecting profitability

Opportunity Management

• Manage and bid millions of dollars in incoming project opportunities
• Evaluate high-value projects daily
• Prioritize opportunities with the highest probability of success
• Work closely with ownership to maximize revenue and margins
• Create new business relationships

Project Coordination

• Assist with project handoff after award
• Communicate project details to operations and installation teams
• Monitor project profitability
• Help identify change orders and additional revenue opportunities

Qualifications

• Commercial flooring estimating
• Flooring sales
• General construction estimating
• Project management
• Commercial bidding
• Blueprint reading
• Quantity takeoffs
• GM or Contractor relationship Experience

Compensation & Benefits

We are willing to structure compensation around the right candidate.

Possible compensation plans include:

• Base Salary + Commission
• Base Salary + Performance Bonuses
• Commission-Heavy Structure for Top Producers

Earning Potential

The right candidate will have the opportunity to bid and manage millions of dollars in opportunities annually.

Target Compensation:

• $65,000 to $150,000+ annually based on performance
• Bonuses for awarded projects
• No cap on earning potential for high performers
