Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Professional accounting certifications or continuing education are beneficial.

Experience Requirements Experience with QuickBooks required, QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop preferred. Experience processing payroll using the ADP system. Bank and credit card account reconciliation experience, along with account level management and reconciliation expertise. Strong understanding of financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheet reporting. Experience preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial records and accounting documentation. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in accounting, financial analysis, auditing, budgeting, or corporate finance is preferred. Experience with ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting software is beneficial. Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax preparation, compliance, or internal controls is considered an asset. Comfortable in a small company environment, with the ability to jump in and complete various tasks as needed. A self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision and stays goal and task oriented. Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, analytical thinking, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are well positioned for success as an Accountant.

Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to review detailed financial documents and perform accurate data analysis with strong attention to detail. Ability to occasionally lift office materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform normal office duties while maintaining productivity throughout the workday.
