Now hiring Accountant - Direct Hire Location: Tucson, AZ Salary: $70,000.00 per year Schedule: Full Time (Some weekends needed) Bring Your A-Game. Experienced Accountant Needed. This Accountant role in Tucson is for someone who understands the full picture, not just A/R and A/P. You track the details, close things out, and keep the numbers accurate. Requirements: Current CPA/EA certification Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent Solid understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP, is a must 5 years of tax preparation experience Knowledgeable and efficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF software, QuickBooks, and other accounting software) Experience with UltraTax is a plus Strong problem-solving and issue resolution Comfortable working in a paperless environment Job Duties: Preparation of Individual and Business Income tax returns - including multiple states Quarterly Business and individual tax planning Review Financial statements and documents, and assess their relevance and adequacy before preparing tax returns Provide Income tax services for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, and gift returns - including communicating with taxing authorities Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
