Election Support Technician

Location: Brighton, CO (Onsite)

Duration: Approximately 3 Weeks

Start Date: Mid-October 2026

TEKsystems is seeking Election Support Technicians for a short-term project supporting county election operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with desktop support, deployment, or IT field support experience who enjoy hands-on technical work in a fast-paced environment.

• Image and deploy laptops and workstations
• Set up polling locations, computers, printers, and peripherals
• Test equipment and verify connectivity
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues
• Provide onsite technical support at polling locations
• Travel between local sites as needed
• Assist with post-election equipment teardown

• 1-3 years of desktop support, deployment, or technical support experience
• Experience imaging and configuring laptops/workstations
• Hardware and software troubleshooting experience
• Basic networking and printer support knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain professional and nonpartisan while supporting election operations

• Onsite in Brighton, CO and surrounding polling locations
• Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)
• Overtime available and paid at 1.5x rate
• One phone interview process

Schedule: October 15 - November 6

Regular Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one-hour lunch break

Special Schedule

Delivery Days (October 16, 28, and 30): 7:00 AM - completion (no later than 7:00 PM)

Saturday, October 31: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Sunday, November 1: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Election Day (November 3): 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Brighton, CO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
