Some nights, weekends, and holidays.As a Cardiovascular OR RN you need to know how to:Recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needsFoster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mindAssess a patients' medical status upon admissionAssist in developing individualized treatment plansComply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelinesYour experience:We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require :BSN from an accredited programCurrent Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, requiredCurrent BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval), required (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service)At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracnursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting, highly preferredYour next move:Now that you know more about being a Cardiovascular OR RN on our team we hope you'll join us. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etcExpected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
