Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

A New York City health services organization is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their high-volume Emergency Department in Fulton County.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day, Evenings, or Nights
• Hours: 9am to 7pm or 3pm to 12am
• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medicine care to patients in a high-volume emergency department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions
• Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care
• Document patient encounters and clinical care in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active New York state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certification
• Active DEA registration for the state of application
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications

Desired Skills:

• Emergency Medicine experience
• Experience in an Acute Care or Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Moderate sedation competency
• Case log documentation and recent CME activity
