Location: Lamar, Colorado

Start Date: 08-03-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of patient/client interventions under the direction of a physical therapist
• Obtain data related to interventions provided and make modifications to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Assist in treating individuals of all ages with medical problems limiting movement and functional activities
• Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with outpatient experience preferred
• Bilingual capabilities are helpful but not required
• Must be adaptable and able to handle multiple projects with independent judgment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current certification from Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board
• Current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and physicians
• Ability to operate therapy equipment and perform technical procedures
• Knowledge of patient care across all age groups from newborns to elderly
• Competency in BLS and physical therapy assistant procedures
