Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home
Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home (OSLNH) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in serving the Lakota elders of the Pine Ridge community. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
- Document care provided accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Coordinate with CNAs and other team members to ensure the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Uphold all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Nebraska
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Long-term care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate care
