Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of multiple dealership locations. Key duties include: Assist Controllers with managing daily accounting operations and support the month‑end closing process Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Analyze financial data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for internal and external audits Process and record manufacturer statements and invoices Reconcile factory statements and floorplan accounts at month‑end Post and reconcile daily banking transactions across assigned dealership accounts Collaborate with team members and dealership personnel to ensure smooth financial operations Support process improvements and identify opportunities for increased efficiency Perform additional duties as assigned Be able to commute to Kingwood dealerships. Qualifications & Skills To be successful in this role, candidates should bring both technical expertise and strong organizational abilities: Prior automotive dealership accounting experience required Formal accounting education preferred Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel preferred Valid Driver’s License required Work Environment & Culture At Parkway, we foster a supportive, team‑oriented environment where employees are encouraged to grow and succeed.
