Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous accounts payable experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Enter and process vendor invoices using a three-way match process
- Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate vendor records
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with month-end Accounts Payable closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Provide general support to the accounting department as needed
