About the Role

The Company is seeking a Fund Controller to play a pivotal role in the establishment of its financial and operational framework. This senior position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in fund and management company accounting, including full-cycle fund accounting, GL management, NAV, and investor allocations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fund and management company accounting, from expense tracking and payroll to preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual investor reports. Additionally, the role involves managing treasury operations, building and maintaining internal controls, and partnering with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax providers. Applicants for the Fund Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for a CPA. A minimum of 8 years' experience is required, along with a proven track record of exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills. Advanced technical knowledge of partnership accounting, investor capital accounts, and fund operations is essential. The role also demands a strategic mindset, as the Fund Controller will be expected to support senior leadership in strategic initiatives and ad hoc analyses, and to play a key leadership role in scaling the infrastructure to accommodate new funds.
